கந்தர் அனுபூதி – பாடல் 42 நாள் 42
சாகாது எனையே சரணங் களிலே
காகா, நமனார் கலகம் செயும்நாள்
வாகா! முருகா! மயில் வாகனனே!
யோகா! சிவஞான உபதேசிகனே!
வேதாந்த்: அபூர்வா, இன்னைக்குப் பாட்டு ஒரு ‘லைஃப் இன்சூரன்ஸ்’ (Life Insurance) மாதிரி. ஆனா இது பணத்துக்கானது இல்ல, நம்ம உயிருக்கானது. மரண பயம் வரும்போது நாம யாரைக் கூப்பிடுவோம்?
அபூர்வா: மரண பயமா? நினைச்சாலே நடுக்கமா இருக்கே! அருணகிரிநாதர் அந்த நேரத்துக்காக இப்போவே அட்வான்ஸா (Advance) ஒரு புக்கிங் பண்றாரா?
வேதாந்த்: கரெக்டா சொன்ன! “நமனார் கலகம் செயும் நாள்” – எமன் வந்து நம்கிட்ட சண்டை போட்டு, நம்ம உயிரைப் பிடிக்க வர்ற அந்த நாள்ல, “சாகாது எனையே சரணங்களிலே காகா” – நான் செத்துப் போகாம (அதாவது பிறவிச் சுழல்ல சிக்காம), உன் திருவடி நிழல்ல என்னைக் காப்பத்து, காப்பத்துன்னு (‘கா கா’) வேண்டுறாரு.
அபூர்வா: “கா கா” அப்படின்னா காப்பாத்துன்னு அர்த்தமா? கேக்குறதுக்கே ரொம்ப உருக்கமா இருக்கே! முருகனை அந்த நேரத்துல எப்படி வரச் சொல்றாரு?
வேதாந்த்: ரொம்ப ஸ்டைலா வரச் சொல்றாரு! “வாகா முருகா மயில் வாகனனே” – ‘வாகு’னா அழகு, வெற்றி, திறமைன்னு அர்த்தம். அழகான மயில் மேல ஏறி கெத்தா வான்னு கூப்பிடுறாரு.
அபூர்வா: எமன் வரும்போது முருகன் மயில் மேல வர்றதைக் கற்பனை பண்ணாலே பயம் போயிரும் போல! அப்புறம் அந்த கடைசி வரி… “யோகா சிவ ஞான உபதேசிகனே!” – அதன் மூலம் என்ன சொல்றாரு ?
வேதாந்த்: அதுதான் முக்கியம். நீ வெறும் வீரன் மட்டும் இல்ல, நீ ஒரு மகா யோகி. சிவபெருமானுக்கே ஞானத்தை உபதேசிச்ச குரு. அந்த ஞானத்தை எனக்குக் கொடுத்து, மரணத்தைப் பத்தின பயமே இல்லாத ஒரு நிலையை எனக்குக் கொடுன்னு கேக்குறாரு.
அபூர்வா: ஓ! இன்ட்ரெஸ்டிங். இன்னிக்கி என்ன Takeaway ?
வேதாந்த்: இன்னைக்கு Takeaway:
- மரண பயம் போக்கும் மருந்து: மரணம் என்பது உடலுக்குத்தான், ஆன்மாவுக்கு அல்ல என்கிற ஞானம் இருந்தால் எமனைக் கண்டு பயப்படத் தேவையில்லை. அந்த ஞானத்தை முருகன் தருவார்.
- சரணாகதி: கஷ்டம் வரும்போது மட்டும் கும்பிடாமல், நம்முடைய கடைசி மூச்சு வரை அவர் திருவடியே கதி என்று சரணடைவதுதான் உண்மையான பக்தி.
அபூர்வா: ஓகே வேதாந்த்! “கா கா”ன்னு நாம கூப்பிட்டா, மயில் மேல “வாகா” அவர் வருவாருன்னு எனக்குப் புரிஞ்சுடுச்சு!
வேதாந்த்: ஆமா! அந்த நம்பிக்கையோட நிம்மதியா இருப்போம். நாளைக்கு 43-வது பாட்டுல சந்திப்போம்!
முருகா சரணம் !
Kandhar Anubhuthi – Verse 42 Day 42
saagaadhu enaiyE charaNang gaLilE
kaa kaa, namanaar kalagam seyum naaL
vaagaa ! murugaa ! mayil vaahananE !
yOgaa ! sivanyaana upadhEsiganE !
Vedaant: Hi Apurva, today’s verse is like the ultimate “Life Insurance policy.” But it’s not about money; it’s about the soul. He’s talking about that final moment we all fear.
Apurva: You mean the end of life? That sounds a bit heavy, Vedaant. Is he making an advance booking for protection?
Vedaant: Exactly! He says: “Namanaar kalagam seyum naal”. On the day when Yaman (the God of Death) creates a “commotion” (kalagam) to take my life away, he pleads: “Saagaadhu enaiyae saranangalilae kaa kaa”.
Apurva: What does “Kaa kaa” mean? It sounds so urgent!
Vedaant: It’s a desperate cry meaning “Protect me! Protect me!” He’s asking Muruga to keep him from “dying” – not just the body, but falling back into the cycle of rebirth.
Apurva: And how does he want Muruga to appear at that moment?
Vedaant: With total style! He calls Him “Vaagaa Muruga Mayil Vahanane”. ‘Vaagu’ implies beauty, victory, and grace. He wants Muruga to arrive majestically on His peacock to chase away the fear of death.
Apurva: I love that. The image of Muruga on a peacock is so bright that even death would seem less dark. But what about the last line?
Vedaant: “Yoga Shiva Gnana Upadesikane”. He addresses Muruga as the Great Yogi and the Teacher who gave Divine Wisdom (Gnana) to Lord Shiva. He’s saying, “Grant me that supreme wisdom so that I realize I am the eternal soul, and not this body that fears death.”
Apurva: It’s interesting. What is today’s take away ?
Vedaant: Today’s Takeaway:
- The Antidote to Fear: Death is only for the body, not the soul. By focusing on Muruga as the “Gnana Upadesikan” (Teacher of Wisdom), we realize our eternal nature and lose the fear of the end.
- Majestic Protection: We don’t have to face life’s biggest challenges alone. Visualizing Muruga’s victorious form (Vaagaa) gives us the mental strength to face even the final “commotion” of life with peace.
Apurva: Got it, Vedaant! If we cry out “Kaa Kaa” (Protect me), He will surely arrive “Vaagaa” (Majestically) on His peacock!
