Day 41 Kandhar Anubhuthi (Daily Divine Delight)
கந்தர் அனுபூதி – பாடல் 41 நாள் 41
வினையோடவிடும் கதிர்வேல் மறவேன்
மனையோடு தியங்கி மயங் கிடவோ
சுனையோடு அருவித் துறையோடு, பசுந்
தினையோடு இதணோடு திரிந் தவனே.
வேதாந்த்: அபூர்வா, இன்னைக்கு பாட்டுல அருணகிரிநாதர் ஒரு செம ‘ஆக்சன்’ (Action) காட்சி கொடுக்குறாரு. ஒரு சிங்கம் வரும்போது மத்த மிருகங்கள் எல்லாம் சிதறி ஓடுமே, அந்த மாதிரி முருகன் கையில இருக்குற வேல் வந்தா நம்ம பாவங்கள் எல்லாம் அலறி அடிச்சுட்டு ஓடுமாம்!
அபூர்வா: வாவ்! அது என்ன “வினை ஓட விடும் கதிர்வேல்”? வேல் வந்தா பாவங்கள் அவ்வளவு பயப்படுமா? அதுக்கு அவ்வளவு பவரா?
வேதாந்த்: ஆமா! “கதிர்வேல்”னா சூரியன் மாதிரி கோடி சூரியப் பிரகாசத்தோட ஒளி வீசுற வேல். அந்த வேல் நம்ம “வினை”யை (கர்மா) துரத்தி ஓட வைக்கும். இருட்டை விரட்ட ஒரு சின்ன தீக்குச்சி போதும்னா, நம்ம பல பிறவிப் பாவங்களை விரட்ட அந்த வேலாயுதம் ஒண்ணு போதாதா?
அபூர்வா: ஓகே. அது என்னடா “தியங்கி” ?
வேதாந்த்: தியங்கி அப்படின்னா, தடுமாற்றம், குழப்பம்னு அர்த்தம் வரும். அந்த வேலாயுதங்கிற ஒரு பவர்ஃபுல் ‘வெப்பனை’ (Weapon) மனசுல வச்சுக்கிட்டு, “மனையோடு தியங்கி மயங்கிடவோ”—நான் ஏன் இந்த வீடு, குடும்பம், கடன், கவலைகள்னு தேவையில்லாத லூப்ல (Loop) மாட்டிக்கிட்டுத் தவிக்கணும்னு கேக்குறாரு.
அபூர்வா: நிஜம்தான் வேதாந்த். கராஜ்ல காரை வச்சிட்டு, மழையில நனைஞ்சுக்கிட்டே நடந்து போற முட்டாள்தனத்தை அழகா சொல்றாரு. ஆனா முருகனைப் புகழும்போது ஏதோ டூர் (Tour) போன மாதிரி, அருவி, சுனைனு என்னமோ “வயலும் வாழ்வும்” ப்ரோக்ராம் மாதிரி வர்ணிக்கிறாரே ?
வேதாந்த்: அங்கதான் கவிதை இருக்கு! “சுனையோடு அருவித் துணையோடு பசும் தினையோடு இதனோடு திரிந்தவனே”. மலைச் சுனைகள், ஆர்ப்பரிக்கும் அருவிகள், பச்சைப்பசேல்னு இருக்குற தினைப்புனங்கள்—இதற்கெல்லாம் நடுவுல வள்ளியைத் தேடி ஒரு சாதாரண மனுஷன் மாதிரி அலைஞ்சு திரிஞ்சவனே அப்படின்னு முருகனைச் சொல்றாரு.
அபூர்வா: ம்….ஏன் அப்படிச் சொல்றாரு வேதாந்த்? இதுக்கும் நம் கவலைகளுக்கும் என்ன சம்பந்தம்?
வேதாந்த்: ஜென்ரலா நாம என்ன நினைக்கிறோம்னா, கடவுள் எங்கேயோ எட்டாத தூரத்துல இருக்காருன்னு நினைக்கிறோம். ஆனா அருணகிரிநாதர் இப்படிச் சொல்றாரு அபூர்வா. “வள்ளிக்காக தினைப்புனம் வரைக்கும் இறங்கி வந்து அலைஞ்சு திரிஞ்சவர் அவரு. அப்படிப்பட்ட எளிமையான கடவுள் உன் மனசுக்குள்ளயும் அலைஞ்சு வந்து உன் கவலைகளைத் துரத்த மாட்டாரா?”ன்னு கேக்குறாரு. அந்த நம்பிக்கையில தான், “உன் கையிலிருக்கும் வேலை நான் மறக்க மாட்டேன், நீ என்னை இந்தக் குடும்ப மாயையில இருந்து காப்பாத்து”ன்னு உருக்கமா வேண்டுறாரு.
அபூர்வா: வாவ். இதுக்குள்ள இவ்வளவு அர்த்தம் இருக்கா ?
வேதாந்த்: ஆமாம் அபூர்வா. இன்னைக்கு Takeaway:
- வேல் எனும் கேடயம்: நம்முடைய கவலைகளும் பாவங்களும் நம்மைக் கட்டுப்படுத்த முடியாது, இறைவனின் “கதிர்வேல்” அவற்றை விரட்டி அடிக்கும் என்கிற மகா நம்பிக்கை நமக்கு வேண்டும்.
- எளிமையின் உச்சம்: எட்டாத உயரத்தில் இருக்கும் கடவுள் அல்ல முருகன்; அவர் நமக்காக இறங்கி வரும் ஒரு எளிய தோழன். அந்தத் தோழமையை உணர்ந்தால் பயம் இருக்காது.
அபூர்வா: ஓகே வேதாந்த்! இனிமேல் ஆபீஸ் டென்ஷனோ, இல்ல வீட்டுப் பிரச்சனையே வந்தாலும், “முருகாவோட கதிர்வேல் முன்னாடி இதெல்லாம் ஜுஜுபி”ன்னு கெத்தா இருப்பேன்!
வேதாந்த்: அதுதான் வேல் கொடுக்கிற தெம்பு! அந்தத் தெம்போட நாளைக்கு 42-வது பாட்டுல சந்திப்போம்!

Vedaant: Hello Apurva, today’s verse features a powerful “cinematic scene.” You know how a dark room instantly lights up when you flip a switch? Arunagirinathar says our sins scatter exactly like shadows when they see Muruga’s spear!
Apurva: I love that imagery! What does he call it? The “Kathirvel”? It sounds like something out of a sci-fi movie!
Vedaant: In a way, it is! “Vinai oda vidum kathirvel”. It’s a spear that shines like a billion suns (Kathir) and makes our past karmas (Vinai) run away in absolute terror.
Apurva: Ok, what is that word “thiyangi” ?
Vedaant: “Thiyangi” means hesitation, confusion, or faltering. He asks a very valid question: “When I have such a high-tech spiritual shield, why should I remain confused and deluded by the petty stresses of home and domestic life (manaiyodu thiyangi mayangidavo)?”
Apurva: It’s like having a supercar in the garage but choosing to walk in the rain and complain about the weather. But wait, the second half of the verse feels like a nature documentary! What’s with the waterfalls and millet fields?
Vedaant: That’s his poetic way of grounding the Divine: “Sunaiyodu aruvi thuRaiyOdu pasum thinaiyodu idhanodu thirindhavane”. He describes Muruga as the one who wandered through mountain pools, gushing waterfalls, and lush green millet fields just to find His beloved Valli.
Apurva: hmmm… Vedaant, Why bring up His “wandering” in the forest while talking about heavy topics like Karma?
Vedaant: Because it proves Muruga’s accessibility Apurva. He isn’t a CEO sitting in a high-rise office; He’s a “Wanderer” who goes where the love is. If He could walk through the rugged terrain of the mountains for Valli, He can surely walk through the “thorns” of our daily problems. Arunagirinathar is saying, “O Lord who came down to our level, use Your spear to clear the messy path of my life!”

Vedaant: Yes Apurva. Todays’ takeaways:
