கந்தர் அனுபூதி – பாடல் 24 நாள் 24
அடியைக் குறியாது அறியா மையினான்
முடியக் கெடவோ முறையோ! முறையோ!
வடி விக்ரம வேல் மகிபா, குறமின்
கொடியைப் புணரும் குண பூத ரனே
வேதாந்த்: அபூர்வா, நேத்து முருகன் வள்ளியோட பாதத்துல விழுந்த அந்த அழகான காட்சியப் பார்த்தோம்ல? இன்னைக்கு அருணகிரிநாதர் தன் பக்கம் இருக்குற ஒரு பெரிய குறையைச் சொல்லி முருகன்கிட்ட முறையிடுறாரு.
அபூர்வா: குறையா? அருணகிரிநாதர் மாதிரியான ஒரு பெரிய ஞானிக்கு என்ன குறை இருக்கப் போகுது? அவர் என்ன தப்பு பண்ணிட்டாராம்?
வேதாந்த்: தப்புன்னு சொல்ல முடியாது, ஆனா நம்ம எல்லாரோட நிலையும் இதுதான்னு அவர் சொல்றாரு. “அடியைக் குறியாது அறியாமையினான் முடியக் கெடவோ?” – அதாவது, “உன்னோட திருவடிகளை நினைக்காம, அறியாமையால நான் இப்படி முழுசா அழிஞ்சு போகலாமா? இது நியாயமா?” அப்படின்னு கேக்குறாரு. “முறையோ முறையோ” அப்படின்னா “இது நீதியா? இது தர்மமா?” அப்படின்னு முருகன்கிட்ட சண்டை போடுறாரு.
அபூர்வா: வாவ்! கடவுள்கிட்டயே “இது நியாயமா?”ன்னு சண்டை போடுறதுக்கு ஒரு தனி தைரியம் வேணும்ல? ஆனா ஏன் அறியாமையால அழிஞ்சு போறேன்னு சொல்றாரு?
வேதாந்த்: ஏன்னா, நாம உலக ஆசைகள்ல மூழ்கி இருக்கும்போது இறைவனோட நினைப்பு வர்றது இல்ல. அதனால நம்ம வாழ்க்கை வீணா போகுது. அந்த நேரத்துல நம்மைக் காப்பாத்த முருகனைத் தவிர வேற யாரு இருக்கா? அவரை எப்படி கூப்பிடுறாரு பாரு… “குறமின் கொடியைப் புணரும் குண பூதரனே!”
அபூர்வா: “குண பூதரன்” – அப்படின்னா என்ன வேதாந்த்? ஏதும் பூதத்தைப் பத்திச் சொல்றாரா?
வேதாந்த்: (சிரிக்கிறான்) இல்லடா! “பூதரன்” அப்படின்னா மலைன்னு அர்த்தம். “குண பூதரன்”னா நற்குணங்கள் நிறைந்த மலை போன்றவன். வள்ளியாகிய கொடியைத் தழுவி நிக்கிற ஒரு பெரிய மலை மாதிரி முருகன் இருக்காராம். கொடி படர்றதுக்கு ஒரு மலை வேணும்ல? அந்த மலை தான் முருகன்.
அபூர்வா: அந்த உருவகம் ரொம்ப அழகா இருக்கே! வள்ளி கொடினா, முருகன் அந்தப் படர்றதுக்கு ஆதாரமா இருக்குற மலை.
வேதாந்த்: கரெக்ட்! “வடி விக்ரம வேல் மகிபா” – கூர்மையான, பராக்கிரமம் வாய்ந்த வேலை ஏந்திய அரசனே! இவ்வளவு பவர் வச்சிருக்க நீ, நான் அறியாமையால கெட்டுப் போகும்போது வேடிக்கை பார்க்கலாமா? வந்து என்னைக் காப்பாத்துன்னு உரிமையோட கேக்குறாரு.
அபூர்வா: புரியுது! ஒரு தந்தை கிட்ட இல்ல ஒரு நண்பன் கிட்ட கேக்குற மாதிரி ஒரு உரிமை இந்தப் பாட்டுல தெரியுது வேதாந்த்!
வேதாந்த்: Today’s Takeaway:
- உரிமை பக்தி: இறைவனிடம் பயந்து போய் நிற்க வேண்டிய அவசியம் இல்லை. ஒரு குழந்தை தன் தந்தையிடம் கேட்பது போல, “என்னை ஏன் காப்பாத்தல?” என்று உரிமையோடு கேட்கும் அன்பு தான் சிறந்தது.
- ஆதார மலை: நம்முடைய பலவீனமான நேரங்களில் (கொடி போல இருக்கும்போது), நம்மைத் தாங்கிப் பிடிக்க முருகன் ஒரு மலை போல இருக்கிறார். அந்த மலையைச் சார்ந்து நின்றால் அறியாமை நம்மை ஒன்றும் செய்யாது.
அபூர்வா: ஓகே வேதாந்த்! இனிமேல் நான் ஏதாச்சும் தப்பு பண்ணிட்டு முழிக்கும்போது, “முருகா இது முறையா?”ன்னு கேட்டு அவரை வேலை வாங்கப் போறேன்!
வேதாந்த்: (சிரிக்கிறான்) தாராளமா பண்ணு! ஆனா அவர் திருவடியை மறக்காம இரு. நாளைக்கு 25-வது பாட்டுல சந்திப்போம்!
முருகா சரணம் !
Kandhar Anubhuthi – Verse 24 Day 24
adiyai kuRiyaadhu aRiyaa mayinaan
mudiyak kedavO muRaiyO! muRaiyO!
vadi vikrama vEl mahibaa ; kuRamin
kodiyaip puNarum guNa boodharanE !
Vedaant: Apurva, after seeing that beautiful scene of Muruga at Valli’s feet yesterday, today Arunagirinathar makes an urgent, almost desperate plea to the Lord.
Apurva: A plea? Why does a great saint like him sound so worried? What’s the “emergency”?
Vedaant: He’s speaking on behalf of all of us. He says: “Adiyai kuriyaadhu ariyaamaiyinaan mudiya kedavo?” He’s asking, “Because of my ignorance (Ariyaamai), I failed to focus on Your feet. Should I just be allowed to perish completely because of that? Is this fair?” He uses the phrase “Muraiyo Muraiyo”, which means “Is this justice? Is this right?”
Apurva: Wow! You need some serious guts to ask God, “Is this fair?” It’s like he’s demanding an answer! But why does he feel he’s perishing?
Vedaant: Because when we get lost in worldly distractions, we lose our spiritual path. We “waste” our lives. He realizes only Muruga can save him from this spiral. He addresses Him as “Kuramin kodiyai punarum guna boodharane!”
Apurva: “Guna Boodharan”? Is he talking about ghosts (Boodham)?
Vedaant: (Laughs) No! “Boodharan” means a Mountain. “Guna Boodharan” means a Mountain of good attributes. He describes Muruga as a solid mountain upon which the creeper-like Valli (Kuramin kodi) climbs and rests.
Apurva: That’s a stunning metaphor! If Valli is the delicate creeper, Muruga is the sturdy mountain that supports her.
Vedaant: Exactly! He calls Him “Vadi vikrama Vel mahibaa”—the King with the sharp, powerful Spear. He’s basically saying, “You are so powerful and so compassionate. How can You just stand there and watch me ruin myself through ignorance? Come and save me!”
Apurva: I get it! It’s not a formal prayer; it’s a high-stakes conversation. It’s the sound of a devotee who knows he has a “right” over God’s grace.
Vedaant: Today’s Takeaway:
- Devotion with Rights: You don’t always have to be formal with the Divine. Arunagirinathar shows us that we can “demand” Grace like a child demands help from a parent. This intimacy is the heart of Anubhuthi.
- The Mountain of Support: In our moments of weakness (when we feel like a fragile creeper), Muruga stands as a “Guna Boodharan”—a mountain of strength. If we lean on Him, our ignorance cannot destroy us.
Apurva: Got it, Vedaant! Next time I mess up because of my own ignorance, I’m just going to ask, “Muruga, is this fair? Come help!”
Vedaant: (Laughs) Go for it! He loves that honesty. Just don’t forget to keep His feet in your mind. See you tomorrow for Verse 25!
