கந்தர் அனுபூதி – பாடல் 21 நாள் 21
அரிதாகிய மெய்ப் பொருளுக்கு அடியேன்
உரிதா உபதேசம் உணர்த்தியவா
விரிதாரண விக்ரம வேள் இமையோர்
புரிதாரக நாக புரந்தரனே!
வேதாந்த்: ஹலோ அபூர்வா, நேத்து நாம பார்த்தோம்ல, கஷ்டம் வந்தா நம்ம குணம் எல்லாம் போயிடும்னு. ஆனா இன்னைக்கு பாட்டுல அருணகிரிநாதர் ஒரு பெரிய சந்தோஷத்துல இருக்காரு. ஏன்னா, முருகர் அவருக்கு ஒரு ‘ஸ்பெஷல் கிளாஸ்’ (Special Class) எடுத்து ஒரு உபதேசத்தைச் சொல்லிக் கொடுத்திருக்காராம்!
அபூர்வா: ஸ்பெஷல் கிளாஸா? முருகரே வந்து டீச்சரா மாறிட்டாரு போல! அது என்ன உபதேசம்? நாம ஏற்கனவே “சும்மா இரு” அப்படிங்கிற அந்த மந்திரத்தைப் பார்த்தோம்ல, இது அதுக்கும் மேல ஏதாச்சும் புதுசா?
வேதாந்த்: “அரிதாகிய மெய்ப் பொருளுக்கு அடியேன் உரிதா உபதேசம் உணர்த்தியவா” – அப்படின்னு சொல்றாரு. அதாவது, பெரிய பெரிய ஞானிகளுக்குக் கூட கிடைக்குறதுக்கு ரொம்ப அரிதான அந்த “உண்மைப் பொருளை” (Truth), அடியேனாகிய எனக்கும் புரியுற மாதிரி முருகர் உபதேசம் பண்ணிட்டாராம். எனக்கு அந்தத் தகுதி இருக்கோ இல்லையோ, அவரோட கருணையால அதை எனக்குச் சொல்லிக் கொடுத்துட்டாருன்னு நெகிழ்ந்து போறாரு.
அபூர்வா: வாவ்! அந்த “மெய்ப்பொருள்” அப்படிங்கிறது என்ன வேதாந்த்? அது ஏதும் சீக்ரெட் கோட்-ஆ (Secret Code)?
வேதாந்த்: (சிரிக்கிறான்) அது ஒரு அனுபவம் அபூர்வா! நாம யாரு, கடவுள் யாரு, இந்த உலகம் என்ன அப்படிங்கிற அந்த முழுமையான தெளிவுதான் அந்த மெய்ப்பொருள். அதைச் சொல்லிக் கொடுத்த முருகனை எப்படிப் புகழுறாரு பாரு… “விரிதாரண விக்ரம வேள்”. அதாவது அகண்ட பூமியைத் தாங்குபவனே, மகா பராக்கிரமம் உடையவனே!
அபூர்வா: “புரந்தரனே” அப்படின்னு முடியுதே? அதுக்கு என்ன அர்த்தம்?
வேதாந்த்: இந்த இடத்துல “நாக புரந்தரனே”. அப்படின்னா தேவர்களோட தலைவனான இந்திரனுக்குத் துணையா இருந்து, பகைவர்களை அழிச்சு தேவலோகத்தைக் காப்பாத்தினவன்னு அர்த்தம். அவ்வளவு பெரிய வேலையைச் செஞ்சவர், சாதாரண அடியவனான எனக்கும் வந்து உபதேசம் பண்ணாரேன்னு அருணகிரிநாதர் ஆச்சரியப்படுறாரு.
அபூர்வா: புரியுது வேதாந்த்! எவ்வளவு பெரிய ஆளா இருந்தாலும், ஒரு சின்ன அடியவனுக்காக இறங்கி வந்து பாடமெடுக்குற அந்த முருகனோட “சிம்பிளிசிட்டி” (Simplicity) தான் இதுல ஹைலைட்!
வேதாந்த்: Takeaway:
- அரிய உபதேசம்: இறைவனை உணரத் தகுதி தேவையில்லை, அவரோட அருள் இருந்தால் போதும். கடினமான உண்மைகளைக்கூட அவர் நமக்கு எளிமையாகப் புரிய வைப்பார்.
- ஆச்சரியமான அன்பு: பிரபஞ்சத்தையே காக்கும் ஒரு பெரிய சக்தி, நம்மை ஒரு குழந்தையைப் போலக் கருதி வழிநடத்துவதுதான் பக்தியின் அழகு.
அபூர்வா: ஓகே வேதாந்த்! எனக்கும் அந்த உபதேசம் புரியணும்னா, நானும் முருகனோட கிளாஸ்ல ‘என்ரோல்’ (Enroll) பண்ணிக்கணும் போல!
வேதாந்த்: (சிரிக்கிறான்) ஏற்கனவே பண்ணியாச்சு! இந்த கந்தர் அனுபூதி படிக்கிறதே அந்த கிளாஸோட ஒரு பகுதிதான். நாளைக்கு 22-வது பாட்டுல சந்திப்போம்!

aridhAgiya meip poruLukku adiyEn
uridhA ubadhEsam uNarththiyavA
viridhAraNa vikrama vEL imaiyOr
purithAraga nAga purandharanE!
Vedaant: Apurva, remember how yesterday we talked about hardship ruining our character? Well, in today’s verse, Arunagirinathar is in a state of pure bliss. Why? Because Muruga has given him a “Special Masterclass” on the ultimate truth!
Apurva: A masterclass? So Muruga turned into a Professor! What was the lesson? We already heard the “Stay Still” mantra, so is this something even more secret?
Vedaant: He says: “Aridhaagiya mei-porulukku adiyen uridha upadesam unarthiyavaa”. He means that the “Ultimate Truth” (Mei-porul), which is extremely rare (Aridhu) even for great sages to attain, was taught specifically to him by Muruga. He’s moved by the fact that Muruga found him worthy of this teaching despite his own shortcomings.
Apurva: Wow! What exactly is this “Mei-porul,” Vedaant? Is it some kind of cosmic secret code?
Vedaant: (Laughs) It’s an experience, Apurva! It’s the total clarity of knowing who we are, who God is, and what this world really represents. He praises Muruga as “Viri dhaarana vikrama Vel”—the courageous Lord who supports the vast Earth.
Apurva: It ends with “Purandharane”. What does that mean?
Vedaant: Here, “Naaga Purandharane” refers to the one who protected the celestial world and supported Indra (the King of Devas) by destroying his enemies. Arunagirinathar is amazed that such a powerful Cosmic Warrior would come down to teach a humble devotee like him.
Apurva: I get it! The highlight here is Muruga’s “Simplicity”—that even though He is the protector of the entire universe, He cares enough to personally guide a single soul.
Vedaant: Takeaways
- The Rare Teaching: You don’t need a PhD in philosophy to understand God; you just need Grace. Muruga makes the most “rare” and difficult truths easy to understand for a sincere seeker.
- Divine Simplicity: The beauty of devotion is that the same power that protects the entire universe is willing to sit down and guide you personally, like a father teaching his child.
