கந்தர் அனுபூதி – பாடல் 6 நாள் 6
மக மாயை களைந்திட வல்ல பிரான்
முகம் ஆறு மொழிந்து மொழிந்திலனே!
அகம் ஆடை மடந்தையர் என்று அயரும்
சக மாயையுள் நின்று தயங்குவதே!
வேதாந்த்: அபூர்வா, இன்னைக்கு பாட்டு நம்ம எல்லாருக்கும் ஒரு ‘ரியாலிட்டி செக்’ (Reality Check). நாம ஏன் இன்னும் இந்த உலக மாயையிலயே சுத்திட்டு இருக்கோம்னு அருணகிரிநாதர் வருத்தப்படுறாரு.
அபூர்வா: மறுபடியும் ‘மாயை’-யா? எனக்குத் தெரிஞ்சு ‘மாயா’ அப்படின்னா என் பக்கத்து வீட்டு பொண்ணு பேரு தான்! நீ எதைச் சொல்ற?
வேதாந்த்: (சிரிக்கிறான்) அந்த மாயை இல்லடா! “ஜக மாயையுள் நின்று தயங்குவதே” – அதாவது வீடு, காசு, டிரஸ், பொண்ணுங்கனு இந்த லௌகீக விஷயங்களே உலகம்னு நினைச்சு அதுக்குள்ளயே நாம ஏன் கன்பியூஸ் ஆகி நிக்கிறோம்னு கேக்குறாரு.
அபூர்வா: ஓ… இந்த ‘இன்ஸ்டாகிராம்’ லைஃப்-னு சொல்றியே, அதுவா? எல்லாமே கலர்ஃபுல்லா தெரியும், ஆனா உள்ளுக்குள்ள ஒண்ணுமே இருக்காது!
வேதாந்த்: கரெக்ட்! அந்த “மக மாயையை” கழட்டி எறிய நம்மகிட்ட ஒரு “வல்ல பிரான்” (வலிமையான கடவுள்) இருக்காரு. அந்த ஆறுமுகப் பெருமான் அவரோட ஆறு முகங்களாலயும் நமக்கு நல்ல விஷயங்களைச் சொல்லிக் கொடுத்துட்டே இருக்காராம். ஆனா நாம தான் அதைக் கேட்காம, “அகம் ஆடை மடந்தையர்”னு வெளிப்பகட்டிலேயே மயங்கி நிக்கிறோம்.
அபூர்வா: அதாவது, ஒருத்தர் மைக் பிடிச்சு ‘உண்மை இதுதான்’னு கத்திக் கிட்டே இருக்காரு, ஆனா நாம ஹெட்போன் போட்டுட்டு ரீல்ஸ் பார்த்துட்டு இருக்கோம்?
வேதாந்த்: சூப்பரா சொன்ன! “மொழிந்து மொழிந்திலனே” – அதாவது அவர் சொல்லிக்கிட்டே தான் இருக்காரு, ஆனா நாமதான் அதை ஒரு பொருட்டா எடுத்துக்கல.
அபூர்வா: சரி, இதுல இருந்து நமக்கு என்ன தெரியுது? நம்ம ரீடர்ஸ்க்கு என்ன மெசேஜ்?
வேதாந்த்: இன்றைய பாடம் (Takeaway):
- மாயையைத் தாண்டிப் பார்: கண்ணுக்குத் தெரியுற இந்த வெளிப்பகட்டு (ஆடை, அந்தஸ்து) நிரந்தரம் இல்லை. அதுலேயே மயங்கி நிக்காம உண்மையான நிம்மதியைத் தேடணும்.
- நல்லுரைகளைக் கேள்: நமக்குத் தேவையான வழிகாட்டுதல்கள் (குரு மூலமாவோ, புத்தகங்கள் மூலமாவோ) கிடைச்சுக்கிட்டே தான் இருக்கு. நாம தான் அந்த ‘சிக்னலை’ சரியா பிடிச்சு, வாழ்க்கையை மாத்திக்கணும்.
அபூர்வா: ஓகே… அப்படின்னா இனிமேல் நான் ‘பிராண்டட் டிரஸ்’ பார்த்து மயங்க மாட்டேன்… ஆனா யாராவது எனக்கு அதை கிப்ட் கொடுத்தா வாங்கிக்கலாமா? அதுவும் மாயையா?
வேதாந்த்: டேய்! நீ அந்த மாயையில இருந்து எப்போதான் வெளிய வருவியோ?

maga mAyai kaLaindhida valla pirAn
mugam ARu mozhindhu mozhindhilanE!
agam Adai madandhaiyar endRu ayarum
saga mAyaiyuL nindRu thayangkuvadhE!
Vedaant: Hai Apurva, today’s verse is a total reality check for our generation. Arunagirinathar is wondering why we are still stuck in the “Maze of Illusion.”
Apurva: “Illusion”? Like a VR headset? Because honestly, I’d rather be in a cool simulation than deal with Monday mornings.
Vedaant: (Laughs) Close enough! He says: “Jega maayaiyul nindru thayanguvadhe!” We are hesitating and trembling inside this worldly illusion. We obsess over “Agam” (property), “Aadai” (fashionable clothes), and “Madandhaiyar” (sensual attractions), thinking this is all there is to life.
Apurva: Ah, the “Instagram Life.” Everything looks filtered, shiny, and perfect on the outside, but it’s mostly just pixels and ego.
Vedaant: Exactly! He says we have a “Valla Piraan”—a powerful Lord with six faces (Shanmuga) who is constantly speaking to us through His wisdom. “Mozhindhu mozhindhilane!” It means He has told us the truth over and over, but we aren’t listening.
Apurva: So, it’s like God is broadcasting a high-definition signal of truth, but we’re sitting in a corner with our fingers in our ears, watching 5-second prank videos?
Vedaant: Precisely. We are stuck in the “Maya” (illusion) because we choose to ignore the clarity that’s right in front of us.
Apurva: Harsh, but fair. So what’s the “TL;DR” for the blog squad today?
Vedaant: The Takeaway:
- Look Beyond the Filter: Material things like wealth and status are the “filters” of life. Don’t get so distracted by them that you forget the original, unfiltered reality.
- Tune in to Wisdom: Good advice and spiritual guidance are always available if you listen. Stop the mental noise and start tuning in to the “frequency” of truth.
Apurva: Got it. No more getting distracted by shiny things. Although, if that “shiny thing” is a new sports car, is it still an illusion? (Laughing) Asking for a friend.
Vedaant: Yes, Apurva. Even the sports car is a very fast, very expensive illusion!
