கந்தர் அனுபூதி – பாடல் 28 நாள் 28
மின்னே நிகர்வாழ்வை விரும்பிய யான்
என்னே! விதியின் பயன் இங்கு இதுவோ
பொன்னே மணியே பொருளே அருளே
மன்னே மயிலேறிய வானவனே.
வேதாந்த்: அபூர்வா, இன்னைக்கு பாட்டுல ஒரு அருமையான ‘மெட்டபர்’ (Metaphor) இருக்கு. நம்ம வாழ்க்கையை எதோட ஒப்பிடுறாரு பாரு… “மின்னே நிகர் வாழ்வு”.
அபூர்வா: மின்னலா? வாவ்! பார்க்க அழகா இருக்கும், ஆனா ஒரு செகண்ட்ல காணாமப் போயிருமே!
வேதாந்த்: கரெக்ட்! வானத்துல மின்னல் தோன்றி மறையுற மாதிரிதான் இந்த வாழ்க்கையும். ஆனா நாம என்ன பண்றோம்? அந்த ஒரு நொடி மின்னலையே நிரந்தரம்னு நம்பி அதை “விரும்பிய யான்” – அதாவது ஆசைப்பட்டு அது பின்னாடியே ஓடுறோம். இதுதான் விதியோட விளையாட்டோ (விதியின் பயன்) அப்படின்னு ஆச்சரியப்படுறாரு.
அபூர்வா: ஆமா வேதாந்த், நாம நிலையற்ற விஷயங்கள் மேலதான் அதிக ஆசை வைக்கிறோம். ஆனா அந்த மின்னல் மாதிரி இருக்குற வாழ்க்கையை விட்டுட்டு எதை நாம பிடிக்கணும்?
வேதாந்த்: அதுக்குத்தான் அடுத்த அடுக்கடுக்கான வார்த்தைகள்! “பொன்னே! மணியே! பொருளே! அருளே!” – முருகனை இப்படித்தான் கூப்பிடணும். தங்கம் மாதிரி மதிப்புள்ளவனே, வைரம் மாதிரி ஒளிருபவனே, வாழ்க்கையோட உண்மையான பொருளே, அன்பின் வடிவமான அருளே!
அபூர்வா: ஒரு பக்கம் மின்னல் மாதிரி சீக்கிரம் முடியுற வாழ்க்கை, இன்னொரு பக்கம் தங்கம், வைரம் மாதிரி என்னைக்குமே அழியாத முருகன்! ரெண்டுக்கும் இருக்குற வித்தியாசம் இப்போ புரியுது.
வேதாந்த்: “மன்னே! மயிலேறிய வானவனே!” – நீதான் என்னோட அரசன், மயில் மேல வர்ற தேவாதி தேவன். இந்த மின்னல் வாழ்க்கையில நான் மயங்கி நிக்காம, நிலையான உன்னைப் பற்றிக்கொள்ள எனக்கு அருள் செய்னு கேக்குறாரு.
அபூர்வா: சூப்பர் வேதாந்த்! “மின்னல்” பின்னாடி ஓடாம “பொன்” பின்னாடி ஓடுனா வாழ்க்கை செட்டில் ஆகிடும்னு சொல்ல வர்றாரு!
வேதாந்த்: (சிரிக்கிறான்). சரியாச் சொல்லு, அபூர்வா, நீ சொல்றத வச்சு, எல்லாரும், மெட்டிரீயல் திங்ஸ்னு நினைச்சுடப் போறாங்க. இங்கே பொன், வைரம்-னு, முருகனோட அருளைப்பத்தி அருணகிரியார் சொல்றாரு. சரி, இன்றைய Takeaway:
- நிலையாமை: மின்னலைப் போன்றது நம் வாழ்க்கை. அது மறைவதற்குள் நிலையான இறைவனைப் பற்றிக்கொள்ள வேண்டும்.
- உண்மையான செல்வம்: பணம், புகழ் எல்லாம் மின்னல் போன்றவை. ஆனால் முருகனின் அருள் என்பது தங்கம் மற்றும் மாணிக்கத்தைப் போன்றது—என்றென்றும் மதிப்பு குறையாதது.
அபூர்வா: ஓகே வேதாந்த்! இனிமேல் நான் ‘மின்னல்’ மாதிரி இருக்குற இன்ஸ்டா ரீல்ஸ் (Reels) பார்த்துட்டு இருக்காம, ‘பொன்’ மாதிரி இருக்குற முருகனை நினைக்கப் பார்க்குறேன்!
வேதாந்த்: (சிரிக்கிறான்) நல்ல முடிவு! அந்தப் பொன் உன்னை எப்பவும் ஜொலிக்க வைக்கும். நாளைக்கு 29-வது பாட்டுல சந்திப்போம்!

minnE nigar vaazhvai virumbiya yaan
ennE ! vidhiyin payan ingu idhuvO
ponnE ! maNiyE ! poruLE ! aruLE !
mannE ! mayil ERiya vaanavanE !
Vedaant: Apurva, today’s verse uses a stunning metaphor. He compares our human life to something very specific: “Minne nigar vaazhvu”.
Apurva: Like a flash of lightning? Wow! It’s beautiful for a second, but it disappears before you can even blink!
Vedaant: Exactly! Just like lightning streaks across the sky and vanishes, this worldly life is temporary. But the irony is that we chase it and crave it (Virumbiya yaan). He wonders, “Is this just the play of destiny (Vidhiyin payan) that I am so obsessed with something that isn’t even meant to last?”
Apurva: That’s deep, Vedaant. We spend all our energy on things that don’t last. So, if life is lightning, what is the “permanent” thing we should hold onto?
Vedaant: That’s where he lists the “Eternal Treasures”: “Ponne! Maniye! Porule! Arule!”. He calls Muruga: “O Gold! O Gem! O Ultimate Reality! O Divine Grace!”
Apurva: I love that contrast! On one side, you have the lightning-life that ends in a flash. On the other hand, you have Murugha, who is as precious and lasting as gold and diamonds.
Vedaant: Exactly. He ends by calling Him “Manne! Mayileriya vaanavane!”—the King, the celestial being on the peacock. He’s asking for the wisdom to stop chasing the flash and start seeking the Treasure.
Apurva: Got it! Don’t chase the “Flash” (fleeting pleasures), chase the “Gold” and “Diamonds” for a better life.
Vedaant: (Laughing) Say it correctly Apurva. Let’s be precise so readers don’t get the wrong idea. In this context, “Gold” and “Diamonds” aren’t physical riches; they represent the Divine Grace that Aurnagirinathar speaks of. Here is the Takeaway:
- Fleeting Reality: Life is like a flash of lightning. It’s quick and temporary. Don’t build your entire identity on something that can disappear in a second.
- The Eternal Treasure: Material things are “flashes,” but the Divine is “Gold and Gems.” Seek the Grace of Muruga, which is the only asset that never loses its value.
