கந்தர் அனுபூதி – பாடல் 12 நாள் 12
‘கூகா’ என என்கிளை கூடிஅழப்
போகா வகை மெய்பொருள் பேசியவா
நாகாசல வேலவ நாலுகவித்
தியாகா சுரலோக சிகாமணியே!
வேதாந்த்: அபூர்வா, இன்னைக்கு பாட்டு ஒரு செம எமோஷனல் கிளைமாக்ஸ். அருணகிரிநாதர் ஒரு சோகமான சீனைக் கற்பனை பண்ணிப் பார்க்குறாரு. ஆனா அந்தச் சோகத்துக்குள்ள ஒரு செம ‘ட்விஸ்ட்’ வச்சிருக்காரு.
அபூர்வா: கிளைமாக்ஸா? ஏற்கனவே எமதர்மன் எருமை மாட்டுல வர்றதைப் பார்த்தாச்சு. இப்போ என்ன… அந்த எருமை மாட்டுக்கு வண்டி மாட்டி கூட்டிட்டுப் போறாங்களா? என்ன சீன் அது?
வேதாந்த்: (சிரிக்கிறான்) இல்லடா! இது நம்ம வீட்டு சீன். ஒருத்தர் இறக்கும்போது அவரோட சொந்தக்காரங்க, நண்பர்கள் எல்லாரும் சுத்தி நின்னு “கூ… கா…” அப்படின்னு கதறி அழுவாங்களாம். “ஐயோ எங்களை விட்டுட்டு போயிட்டியே” அப்படின்னு அந்த சத்தம் ஊருக்கே கேக்குமாம்.
அபூர்வா: ஆமா, அது ரொம்ப கஷ்டமான நேரமாச்சே. ஒரு நிமிஷம்… “கூ… கா…” அப்படின்னு அழுற அந்த சத்தம் கேக்குற வரைக்கும் நாம அங்கே இருப்போமா என்ன?
வேதாந்த்: அங்கதான் அருணகிரிநாதர் ஒரு பெரிய ரகசியத்தைச் சொல்றாரு. அந்த மாதிரி சொந்தக்காரங்க அழுறதுக்கு முன்னாடியே, அதாவது உயிர் போறதுக்கு முன்னாடியே, முருகர் அவருக்கு ஒரு ரகசியத்தைச் சொல்லிட்டாராம். “மெய்ப்பொருள் பேசியவா” – அதாவது உண்மையான சத்தியம் எதுன்னு முருகர் அவர் காதுல ‘விஸ்பர்’ (Whisper) பண்ணிட்டாராம்.
அபூர்வா: என்னது? முருகர் வந்து காதுல மெசேஜ் சொன்னாரா? அது என்ன மெசேஜ்? “நீ அழாத, நான் பார்த்துக்கிறேன்” அப்படின்னு சொல்றதா?
வேதாந்த்: இல்லடா! அதுக்கும் மேல. “நீ இந்த உடம்பு இல்ல, நீ சாகுறவன் இல்ல… நீ ஒரு அழியாத ஆத்மா” அப்படிங்கிற அந்த பரம ரகசியத்தை அவருக்குப் புரிய வச்சுட்டாராம். அதனாலதான் “போகா வகை” அப்படின்னு சொல்றாரு. அதாவது, அவரோட உயிர் பயத்தோட அலையாம, ஒரு தெளிவோட இருக்குமாம்.
அபூர்வா: வாவ்! அப்போ சுத்தி இருக்குறவங்க பயந்து அழுதுட்டு இருப்பாங்க, ஆனா இவருக்குள்ள ஒரு பெரிய அமைதி இருக்குமா? ஏன்னா இவருக்கு ‘கிளைமாக்ஸ்’ என்னன்னு முன்னாடியே தெரிஞ்சு போச்சு! ஆனா முருகரை ஏன் “நாகாசல வேலவா” அப்படின்னு கூப்பிடுறாரு? அதுக்கு என்ன அர்த்தம்?
வேதாந்த்: “நாகாசலம்”னா திருச்செங்கோடு மலை. அங்க பாரு… மலையே பாம்பு வடிவத்துல இருக்கும். அங்க இருக்குற முருகா, நீ நாலு வகையான கவிதைகளையும் அதாவது, ஆசு, மதுரம், சித்திரம், வித்தாரம் என்று பாடத் தெரிந்த ஒரு பெரிய புலவன். தேவர்களின் தலைவனே, அந்த மரண பயம் என்னை அணுகாத படி நீ எனக்கு அந்த ‘சீக்ரெட் பாஸ்வேர்ட்’-ஐ சொல்லிட்டன்னு நெகிழ்ந்து போறாரு.
அபூர்வா: செம! அப்போ சொந்தக்காரங்க அழுறதுக்கு முன்னாடியே முருகர் வந்து இவரை ‘ஆன்மீகமா சேஃப்’ (Spiritually Safe) பண்ணிட்டாரு! இது எப்படின்னா, எக்ஸாம் பேப்பர் லீக் ஆன மாதிரி… இவருக்கு முன்னாடியே ஆன்சர் தெரிஞ்சிருச்சு! சரி வேதாந்த், இந்த “கூ கா” அழுகையை நினைச்சு நாம பயப்படாம இருக்க என்ன பண்ணணும்?
வேதாந்த்: The takeaway.
1. மெய்ப்பொருள் அறிதல் (Understanding the Truth): நாம வெறும் சதை, எலும்பு கிடையாது. நாம ஒரு அழியாத சக்திங்கிற அந்த ‘மெய்ப்பொருள்’ புரியும்போது, எந்த இழப்பும் நம்மளைப் பாதிக்காது.
2. பக்தியே கவசம் (Devotion as a Shield): உறவினர்கள் அழுற அந்த கடைசி நிமிஷம் வரை வெயிட் பண்ணாம, இப்பவே முருகனோட அருளைத் தேடினா, அந்தப் பயம் நம்ம மனசுல நுழையவே முடியாது.
அபூர்வா: ஓகே… அப்படின்னா முருகர் எனக்கு அந்த ‘மெய்ப்பொருளை’ மட்டும் சொல்லிட்டா, நான் கிளைமாக்ஸ்ல கூட “சீன்” போடாம கெத்தா இருப்பேன்னு சொல்ற?
வேதாந்த்: (சிரிக்கிறான்) கண்டிப்பா! பயம் இல்லாம இருக்குறதுதான் உண்மையான ‘கெத்து’. அந்த ரகசியத்தைத் தேடிப் போறதுதான் நம்ம லைஃப்-ஓட கோல்.
அபூர்வா: சரி, நான் இப்போவே அந்த ரகசியத்தைத் தேட ஆரம்பிச்சிடுறேன். நாளைக்கு 13-வது பாட்டுல சந்திப்போம்!

‘kUgA’ ena enkiLai kUdi azhap
pOgA vagai meipporuL pEsiyavA
nAgAsala vElava nAlukavith
thiyAgA suralOga sigAmaNiyE!.
Vedaant: Hello Apurva, today’s verse is an emotional rollercoaster with a massive “Plot Twist.” Arunagirinathar describes a scene we usually avoid thinking about—the final moments of life—but he turns it into a victory.
Apurva: A plot twist? We’ve already seen Yama on his buffalo. What’s next? Is there a VIP exit? What’s the scene here?
Vedaant: (Laughs) It’s more personal. He says: “Koo-kaa ena en kilai koodi azha”. He’s talking about the moment when a person’s relatives and friends gather around the bed and wail in grief, shouting “Koo! Kaa!” in total desperation.
Apurva: Man, that’s heavy. That sounds like a scene from a tragic movie. But wait… do we actually stay around long enough to hear people crying for us?
Vedaant: That’s the point! Arunagirinathar says that before that wailing started—before the soul felt lost—Muruga stepped in. He says: “Meipporul pesiyava”. Muruga whispered the “Ultimate Reality” into his ears.
Apurva: Wait, Muruga gave him a private briefing? What was the message? Was it like, “Don’t worry, it’s all going to be fine”?
Vedaant: Much deeper. He made the poet realize: “You are not this decaying body; you are the eternal soul.” That’s why he says “Poga vagai”—so that the soul doesn’t wander off in fear or confusion. It stays centered and peaceful.
Apurva: Whoa! So while everyone else is in a state of panic and crying their eyes out, the person inside is completely chill because they’ve been given the “Ultimate Spoiler” for what life really is?
Vedaant: Precisely! He addresses Muruga as “Nagachala Velava”, the Lord of the Serpent-shaped hill in Tiruchengode. He’s basically saying, “You are the greatest poet and warrior, and You chose to save me from this final terror by giving me the Truth.”
Apurva: That’s epic. It’s like being in a room where the lights go out and everyone starts screaming, but you have high-tech night-vision goggles. You’re just sitting there, calm, because you can see exactly what’s happening! So Vedaant, how do we stay calm when life throws this “Koo-Kaa” wailing scenario at us?

- Realizing the Meipporul (Ultimate Reality): Fear only exists when we think we are just the physical body. When you realize through grace that you are the eternal Soul, the fear of “ending” vanishes completely.
- Proactive Peace: Don’t wait for the final curtain call to find God. Seek that divine whisper now, so that when the world is in chaos, you are already equipped with the “Night Vision” of Truth.
Apurva: Got it! So if Muruga gives me that “Secret Knowledge,” I can be the most composed person in the room even during the most tragic scene?
Vedaant: Exactly! Being fearless in the face of the ultimate unknown is the greatest victory one can achieve. That’s the power of Anubhuthi.
