கந்தர் அனுபூதி – பாடல் 2 நாள் 2
ஆடும் பரி, வேல், அணிசேவல் எனப்
பாடும் பணியே பணியாய் அருள்வாய்
தேடுங் கயமா முகனைச் செருவில்
சாடுந் தனியா னைசகோ தரனே.
வேதாந்த்: அபூர்வா, நேத்து விநாயகர் கிட்ட பர்மிஷன் வாங்கினோம்ல? இன்னைக்கு அருணகிரிநாதர் முருகன்கிட்ட ஒரு ‘ஜாப் ஆஃபர்’ (Job Offer) கேக்குறாரு. அதுதான் இந்த 2-வது பாட்டு!
அபூர்வா: என்னது… முருகன்கிட்ட ‘வேலை’ கேக்குறாரா? என்ன வேலை? ‘டிஜிட்டல் மார்க்கெட்டிங்’ -ஆ இல்ல ‘சாஃப்ட்வேர் இன்ஜினியர்’ -ஆ? பேக்கேஜ் எவ்வளவு? அட்லீஸ்ட் ‘ஒர்க் ஃபிரம் ஹோம்’ (WFH) ஆப்ஷன் இருக்குமா?
வேதாந்த்: (சிரிக்கிறான்) இது நீ நினைக்கிற வேலை இல்லைடா. “பாடும் பணியே பணியாய் அருள்வாய்” அப்படின்னு கேக்குறாரு. அதாவது, “உன்னைப் பத்தி எப்பவும் பாடிக்கிட்டே இருக்குற அந்தத் தொண்டையே எனக்கு முழுநேர வேலையா கொடு” அப்படின்னு அர்த்தம்.
அபூர்வா: என்னடா இது… 24 மணி நேரமும் பாடிக்கிட்டே இருக்கணுமா? எனக்கு பாத்ரூம்ல கூட பாடத் தெரியாது! வேற ஏதாவது ஈஸியான வேலை இருந்தா சொல்லேன். ‘ஸ்பிரிச்சுவல் டேட்டா என்ட்ரி’ மாதிரி?
வேதாந்த்: டேய், பாடுறதுன்னா பாட்டு மட்டும் இல்லை, உன் மனசு எப்பவும் அவனை நினைச்சுட்டு இருக்கணும். இதுல முருகனோட ‘ஸ்டைல்’ எப்படி இருக்கு பாரு… “ஆடும் பரி, வேல், அணிசேவல்” – ஆடுற மயில், கையில வேல், அப்புறம் அந்த அழகான சேவல் கொடி!
அபூர்வா: ஓ! மயில் அவரோட ஸ்போர்ட்ஸ் கார், வேல் அவரோட லேட்டஸ்ட் கேஜெட், சேவல் அவரோட லோகோ! செம கிளாஸா இருக்கே. ஆனா கடைசி வரியில மறுபடியும் ஒரு ‘யானை’ வருதே? “தனியானை சகோதரனே” அப்படின்னா என்ன?
வேதாந்த்: அங்கதான் நம்ம ‘சகோதர பாசம்’ வருது. கயமுகாசூரன் என்ற அரக்கனை ஓட ஓட விரட்டி அடிச்ச அந்தத் தனிப்பெரும் யானை விநாயகரோட தம்பியே, அப்படின்னு முருகனை கூப்பிடுறாரு.
அபூர்வா: ஓ! “என் அண்ணன் யாரு தெரியுமா? அவர் ஒரு பெரிய டான்!” அப்படின்னு சிபாரிசு லெட்டர் கொடுத்து வேலை கேக்குறாரா? அண்ணனைப் பாராட்டி தம்பிகிட்ட சீட் வாங்குறது பழைய டெக்னிக் தான்!
வேதாந்த்: அரசியல் பேசாதே அபூர்வா!, இங்க சொல்றது ப்யூர பக்தி! அண்ணன் தம்பி உறவைச் சொல்லி முருகனை நெருங்குறாரு. “உன்னைப் புகழறதுதான் என் லைஃப்-டைம் ஜாப்” அப்படின்னு ஒரு கமிட்மென்ட் கொடுக்குறாரு.
அபூர்வா: சரி, இந்த பாட்டோட ‘பாட்டம் லைன்’ என்ன? நம்ம பிளாக் வாசகர்களுக்கு என்ன சொல்ல வர்ற?
வேதாந்த்: இன்றைய பாடம் (Takeaway):
- வேலையே தெய்வம்: நாம செய்யுற வேலையை வெறும் காசுக்காக மட்டும் செய்யாம, அதை ஒரு மனநிறைவான ‘பணியா’ (Service) நினைச்சு செஞ்சா, ஸ்ட்ரெஸ் இருக்காது.
- பணிவு: ஒரு பெரிய இடத்துல வேலை கேட்கும்போது கூட, சரியான ரெஃபரென்ஸ் காட்டிப் பணிவா கேட்குறதுதான் அழகு.
அபூர்வா: சூப்பர்! அப்போ எனக்கும் இந்த ‘அனுபூதி’ ஆபீஸ்ல ஒரு இன்டர்ன்ஷிப் கிடைக்குமா? ஆனா கண்டிஷன் என்னன்னா, நீ எனக்கு மேனேஜரா இருக்கக்கூடாது!

Vedaant: Okay Apurva, now that Ganesha has cleared our path, the poet is sliding into Muruga’s DMs with a “Job Application” in Verse 2!
Apurva: A job? What kind of role are we talking about? Social Media Manager? Content Creator? Does it come with a joining bonus and free snacks?
Vedaant: (Laughs) Not exactly. He says: “Paadum paniye paniyaai arulvaai.” He’s basically asking for a full-time role where his only job is to sing and meditate on Muruga’s glory.
Apurva: Wait… the entire job description is just singing? Vedaant, I can’t even hit a single note in the shower without the neighbors complaining! Is there no “Spiritual Admin” role?
Vedaant: It’s not about the vocals; it’s about the focus! He describes Muruga’s aesthetic first: the dancing peacock (Aadum Pari), the Spear (Vel), and the Rooster flag (Seval).
Apurva: I get it. The Peacock is his high-end vehicle, the Vel is his signature weapon, and the Rooster is his branding. Very “influencer” vibes. But wait, why is there an “Elephant” again? “Thani yaanai Sagodharane”?
Vedaant: That’s the networking move! He calls Muruga the younger brother of the “Unique Elephant” (Ganesha), who single-handedly crushed the demon Gayamuga.
Apurva: Ah! So he’s using the “Do you know who my brother is?” card? He praises the big brother to impress the younger one and secure the job. That’s classic networking!
Vedaant: You could say that. But it’s really about the bond between them. He’s telling Muruga, “I want my 24/7 occupation to be thinking of you.”
Apurva: Alright, I’m sold. But what’s the “TL;DR” for our blog readers? What’s the catch of the day?
Vedaant: The Takeaway:
- Work as Worship: Don’t just work for the paycheck. If you treat your tasks as a “service” or a “mission,” you find a flow that feels divine.
- Humility in Connection: Leveraging the bond of family (like the Ganesha-Muruga bond) shows that even the greatest gods value relationships. Success is easier when you have the right “brotherhood” behind you.
Apurva: Nice. So basically, I should stop complaining about work and treat it like a “divine gig.” Got it. Though I still think a Playstation latest model would be a better joining bonus!
